Pulling the weeds in the mind
It all begins with an idea.
Releasing what no longer serves you feels like pulling the weeds that have overtaken the garden. They can grow if you don’t get to the root of it all. but when doing so, you make space to plant some seeds. Seeds that can potentially be blessings in your life. so why not?
First things first. Clarity. Understand exactly what isn’t helping you blossom. Knowing what you need to let go of is a gift in itself. Give yourself grace for having that awareness.
Learning to let go can be hard but not impossible. It is important to do so because being attached deprives us of our happiness and freedom.
I believe that the weeds in the garden of our mind are all vibrations related to fear. The need to control, jealousy, comparison, judgment, anxiety… the list goes on. anything that isn’t helping us blossom. holding on to pain that no longer serves us. it is funny because I’ve always been quite fascinated by this topic at hand. I even made a whole podcast about it.
Now, here I am dealing with a heartbreak. no better time to start talking about the concept of letting go when you have the most resistance to it. So I gave myself a listen for the first time. I played my podcast episode based on this topic, and, wow, how refreshing it is to hear that there are tools to help self-regulate your emotions. Sometimes, it’s easy to forget, especially when the mind is dealing with so much stress. and here is what i have concluded. Breathwork, Movement, Journaling, and Meditation are tools that can help you pull the weeds in the mind.

Being intentional with what you do is a seed in itself.
